Curriculum, methods, and materials for teaching integrated curriculum with a focus on real-world experiences with diverse students in urban settings; teacher candidates will develop and use a thematic unit to instruct K-8 students; emphasis includes critical reflection of how to improve learning and instruction for all students. Twenty hours field experiences. PREREQUISITE or COREQUISITE: ELED 4351, 4352, 4354, admission to TEP, and completion of ALL coursework except Student Teaching and Professional Seminar.
