Prerequisites: POR 302; or consent of instructor Introduction to translation theory and techniques. A number of texts from a variety of genres, including essay, short stories, and journalistic texts, will be distributed to students for translation. Students will present portions of their translated text to the class for comment. A portion of the course will also be dedicated to the fundamental terms of business correspondence in Portuguese.
