Prerequisites: NUR 230, BIO 251, 261 Corequisites: NUR 250, 251 Second course in a two-semester sequence that provides the knowledge foundation for understanding alterations and adaptations in physiological processes in humans. The content selected for study is essential to critical thinking, clinical judgment, and therapeutic interventions in illness-related phenomena. Humans ability to adapt to physiological alterations are presented and discussed throughout the course. Principles of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics are integrated throughout the course.
