Conserving soil and water resources are critical issues in the United States and worldwide. This course will examine methods conserving soil and water while maintaining high levels of crop production, of predicting and controlling soil erosion from cultivated land, of conserving soil on rangeland, forestland and construction sites and of conserving water resources, including wetlands. Prerequisites: Computer MATH 146 and SOIL 120. Co-listed as SOIL/AGEN 440. (F, Sp)
