Prerequisites: One year of high school chemistry or CHEM 101 or 151 and one year of high school algebra with a minimum grade of C An introduction to the science of biology including the chemistry of life, cell biology, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, Mendelian, population and molecular genetics, speciation and macroevolution versus creation as models for origins. Three lectures, one tutorial session and one three-hour laboratory per week. Fall semester.
