Prerequisite: MATH 111; corequisite: EDUC 345 Builds upon previous mathematics courses as well as classroom observation. Standards for mathematics published by the National Council of Teachers (NCTM) form the basis for the selection of topics. These include number and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis and probability and is taught with a focus on problem solving, reasoning, communication and connections. Fall semester.
