The purpose of this clinical course is to provide an environment in which Advanced Gerontological Nurse Practitioner/Diabetes Clinical Manager students have the opportunity to become proficient at obtaining, recording, and analyzing a systematic health history and advanced physical examination of older adults. The focus is refinement of cognitive and clinical skills needed to provide comprehensive health assessments of older adults especially those with diabetes.
