The purpose of this course is to expand the Advanced Gerontological Nurse Practitioner/Diabetes Clinical Manager Nursing student's knowledge and skills for obtaining, recording, and analyzing a systematic health assessment of the older adult. Emphasis is placed on syntheses and application of nursing and related theories and scientific knowledge to the development of differential/nursing diagnoses as a basis for health promotion and management, especially clinical management of diabetes.
