A study of molecular composition of cell structure, metabolism, genetics, microevolution, Monera, Protista, Fungi, and plants. Students with an ACT composite score of less than 21 should first successfully complete BLY 101, CH 100 or CH 131 before enrolling in BLY 121. BLY 101 credit may be applied as an elective credit toward a degree but cannot be included in the 36 hours required for a biology degree.
