A survey course emphasizing reasons for natural resource misallocation including property rights and common property resources, externalities, and public good problems. Consideration is given to the equity and efficiency implications of public policies to direct the use of energy resources, minerals, water, forests and fisheries. Considerable emphasis is placed on the economics of pollution control. Prerequisite: AGEC 230 or ECON 252. (F)
