Students will investigate the influence of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, exceptionality, language, and learning styles on language arts instructions. The selection of learning materials will focus on the multicultural literature and media, historical and current affairs that influence public education policies, and theories and practices of multicultural education in the United States. 25 hours of filed experience required for education majors and minors only. Prerequisite: TED 120. Materials fee required. (F)
