Introduces the knowledge and skills of Project Management (PM) in a business environment. Emphasis will be on the entire project life cycle, the project management process groups and the knowledge areas as presented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Managerial aspects, quantitative tools and traditional techniques of Project Management will be covered. Application to various industries will be included. Note: cannot receive credit for both DSCI 6820 and BUSN 6820. Cross-listed with BUSN 6820 and URPL 6686.
