The purpose of this course is to develop student proficiency in using research to improve health care outcomes for patients. The course focuses on strategies for evaluating, retrieving, and using evidence to initiate quality in health care plans and to initiate change in the health care system and processes. The emphasis is on problem identification, evaluation of relevant research, and critical application of evidence.
