Description:
A study of techniques used for simulation and treatment delivery. Includes general and site-specific instruction, with attention given to technical details aimed at optimizing the dose delivery planned during simulation and accomplished during treatment. Site-specific topics will include lung, brain, breast, pelvis, head and neck. Palliative treatment techniques will also be examined. Time will be dedicated to demonstration of techniques. A detailed study of the principles of cell response to radiation will be included.
