This course is an in-depth study of the unique needs of atypical populations of gifted students. Attention will be directed to the culturally diverse gifted, economically disadvantaged gifted, uderachieving gifted, gifted in rural areas, gifted females, highly/profound gifted, gifted handicapped, gifted with ADD/ADHD/SLD, and gifted preschoolers.
