3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory Prerequisites: Biology core A description of reproductive and embryological principles.& The course describes the steps required for fertilization of an egg and organogenesis of male and female reproductive systems.& Lectures focus on early fetal development, the impact of genetic and environmental factors influencing early embryogenesis, and organogenesis of each major human organ system.& The laboratories involve the microscopic study of tissue histology to strengthen the understanding of tissue and organ function.
