Prerequisites: Senior standing Investigations of a fundamental and/or applied nature intended to develop research techniques, initiative, and self-reliance. Also, studies are conducted in areas not included in the formal course offerings. Admission to the course is based on a formal proposal endorsed by an advising professor. On the recommendation of the advising professor, the course may be extended for another three credits.
