This lecture-lab course deals with surround sound in film, digital TV and DVD’s. Topics include monitoring, microphone techniques, recording, mixing, mastering, delivery formats and psychoacoustics. Students work on two lab projects in the semester. Prereq: MSRA 5550. Cross-listed with MUSC 4575.
