Emphasizes basic cell functions and biological control systems, such as membrane phenomena, energy and cellular metabolism, protein synthesis, muscle contraction, and other areas of functional biology. Lec. 3 hrs. Pre-requisite: BIOL 101, BIOL 102; CHEM 112, CHEM 114. Co-requisite: BIOL 317.
