This course is an in-depth study of the theory and practice of organization development. The course will focus on planned change processes in organizations, including organizational diagnostic procedures, designing and implementing change interventions and the process of analyzing the results of planned change processes. Fundamental concepts of organization design and group dynamics will be integrated with theories of transformation and organization effectiveness. The course will also include the development of the discipline of organization development as well as an exploration of the credentials and skills necessary to practice in the field.
