This course provides students the opportunity to develop an understanding of the role of the intervention specialist in the issues relating to communication, collaborative practices, professionalism, and ethical practices. Students develop and use effective communication and collaboration skills in relating to students, parents, and other educational providers and develop an understanding of the role of the intervention specialist as part of the total educational experience. This course also deals with other issues involving the role of a teacher, networking skills, and resources accessibility Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education
