Integration of geology and archaeology. Rock identification of lithic sources, sediment analysis of site deposits, paleolandscape reconstruction, geochronology and environmental change. Response to changes in resources and climate by past societies and application to contemporary problems and issues. Special Note: Students are required to provide their own transportation to field locales. Not available for credit to students who have completed GEOL A656.
