Analytical techniques related to stone artifacts (lithics) from archaeological sites, with an emphasis on lithic technology, or understanding the processes by which stone tools were manufactured, used, and eventually discarded. Identification of lithic "debitage" geochemical characterization, use-wear, and applications to Hawaiian flaked, pecked, and ground tools.
