Included in this survey are some of the major principles, concerns, themes of cultural anthropology, and the variety of ways in which people structure their social, economic, political, and personal lives. Emphasized are the implications of overpopulation, procreative strategies, progress and growth of culture complexity, developments in the Third World, and cultural dynamics in Western as well as in non-Western societies.
