An analysis of works by various authors, with the intention of exploring the political ideas that emerge in conjunction with the appearance of modern science, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, and Romanticism. Topics will include the modern conceptions of the nature of being, truth, justice, and the relationship of the individual to the community.
