Senior capstone. Designed to be the culminating project of the major for both Options A and B. Students create a research project in consultation with a faculty member. The capstone reflects the student’s personal interests and career goals and may be linked to a work internship with advisor approval. The project results in an analytical research paper and bibliography written in French. Capstones may be in the areas of language, literature, or culture. Students deliver an oral presentation of the project in French to foreign languages and literatures faculty. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing in the major and FR 314 , FR 315 , FR 316
