Explores and analyzes the environment, bringing together the many physical factors that create a complete understanding of Earth system operations. Includes basic concepts and relationships between and among the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere with emphasis on the geosphere and biosphere. Familiarizes students with human-environment interactions that are relevant to our lives. Three hours of lecture and one 3-hour laboratory. Approved for University Studies (Explorations).
