Prerequisites: PHYS 2425 or equivalent with a grade of āCā or better.This course presents the calculus-based theory and application of engineering mechanics, with emphasis on analysis of structures in static equilibrium. Topics include vector algebra, force systems, free body diagrams, concentrated and distributed loads, centroids, moments of inertia, and friction.
