Description:

This is a self study, self-paced course which utilizes the computer-based learning (CBL) modules on the laser video disk and CD-ROM, purchased from the Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology, Education, and Training (COMET). Credits earned are based upon the number of modules chosen. The modules vary in length and include frequent quizzes and lab exercises which are computer evaluated. The student will contract to finish a certain number of modules during the term, and complete them on the department PC which runs the modules. The completion of the modules wil be monitored by the student's advisor. Offered Fall or Spring semester.
