A service learning course that includes a 2-month summer immersion program in Nicaragua, a semester of preparatory study of Latin American culture and theology, and post-0trip reflection on the summer experience. Limited to 4-6 students. Students must apply for the Puleo Scholarship in Dept. of Theological Studies in fall; attend classes at SLU in the spring and in the fall following the summer program.
