Includes taxonomy of aquatic organisms, mechanisms of predation and herbivory, and physiology. Local fields trips and laboratory work emphasizes the limnology of Lake Tahoe basin lakes and streams, Great Basin alkaline lakes, and Pacific coast intertidal and deep ocean waters.
