Physical interpretations of concepts, such as noise, pitch, mechanical and acoustic waves and oscillations, loudness, harmonics and timbre, scales and temperament, etc. Three lecture hours, two laboratory hours. Not open to students who have successfully completed PHYS 141. GenEd 11.A. Lab/Class fee will be assessed.
