Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in READ 100 or satisfactory test score. An introductory course in theatre designed for the non-theatre major. Students will develop an appreciation and enjoyment of the dramatic arts. This survey of theatrical history, principles and practices includes units on theory, performance, terminology, production, and technical aspects. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with theatre through hands-on experience, video/film, and reading/performing plays. [Semesters Offered: Winter]
