Lec. 5. Credit 5. Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra, one year of high school geometry, and 12 weeks of trigonometry. Review of algebra and trigonometry; relations and functions and their graphs, including polynomial and rational functions; conic sections; inequalities; polar coordinates; complex numbers; and advanced topics in algebra. Credit will not be given for both MATH 1730 and any of MATH 1710 and MATH 1720 . ? Meets Tennessee Technological University and Tennessee Board of Regents minimum degree requirements.
