Lec. 5. Credit 5. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement test score and two high school algebra credits, ability to self-pace, and ability to use computer software with confidence. Review of operations with signed numbers. Fundamental concepts of algebra including linear and polynomial functions, rational expressions, radicals, complex numbers, applications, and solutions to systems of equations.
