Catalog Description: A beginning level course which introduces students to fundamental language skills in listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Study includes basic vocabulary, grammatical structures, and culture of the Spanish-speaking peoples. Two hours a week in laboratory practice required. Prerequisite(s): This course is designed for students with little knowledge or no prior study of the Spanish language.
