The course provides the student with an overview of International Business relations and the various legal systems that such relationships will operate within. Public law of international business will be analyzed with special emphasis on commercial sales contracts, various legal systems and disputes resolution, treatise and custom laws, export and foreign licensing, and environmental law. The course will also explore the private law concept of business transactions comparatively with the United states common and statutory law. Present current events happenings will be discussed and how such events will affect unilateral laws such as economic crisis, wars and other social events or upheavals. The course will also contain specific emphasis with the legal system and the business relationships involving Native Americans. (Prerequisites: Senior standing and permission) .
