This course is a presentation, analysis, and discussion of the specific functions of an organization's Human Resources Department including the human relations knowledge and skills vital to the success of any manager. The standards of performance that are expected of the manager, the subordinate, and the organization are stressed. Emphasis is on the supportive relationship between employees and their organization. A number of contemporary and controversial issues are discussed. Prerequisite: MGT105.
