HIST 1123 Civilization since 16th Century: This course offers a survey of the significant economic, social, and political currents of World Civilization from the Protestant Reformation to the late twentieth century. Prerequisite: Basic Composition (ENGL 1013) with a ā€œCā€ or better OR ASSET/ACT Writing cut-off score. Students do not have to take civilization courses in sequence, but they generally find the classes easier if they do.
