BIOL 1124 Introduction to Biology: A general education course in biology for NONMAJORS introducing key concepts and methods such as cell structure and function, metabolism, photosynthesis, cellular reproduction, genetics, DNA and protein synthesis, plant and animal evolution, plant and animal structure and function. Laboratory exercises will be provided to demonstrate and reinforce the principles covered in class.
