This course examines Christian ethics and Christian responsibility in their socio-political and economic arenas. In addition to general theories of ethics, students are expected to become familiar with the ethical teachings of the Hebrew prophets, Jesus, and Paul as well as modern thinkers such as Bonhoeffer, Reinhold Niebuhr, and Stanley Hauerwas. Prerequisite: PHL 210 or instructor's consent.
