Topics include the role and use of statistics; tables and graphs; numerical descriptive methods; probability; discrete, continuous, and sampling distributions; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing; analysis of variance; contingency tables, and simple linear regression. Prerequisites: MATH 105 or higher and CIS 121.
