Honors Section Offered 3 Class Hours An introduction to the fundamentals of human behavior. Major topics include biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, motivation, learning and memory, maturation and development, personality, and social psychology. On completion of the course, the student should be able to utilize basic psychological principles to achieve a better understanding of self and others. Prerequisites: DSPW 0800 and DSPR 0800 or equivalent skills Note: PSYC 1111 meets the requirement for a Social Science elective. This course is part of the general education core.
