An introductory course in machine tool practices for Power Engineering Technology students. This course is designed to give students the basic theory and practical application necessary to work with and supervise the operation of machine tools and associated equipment such as engine lathe, milling machine, drill press and precision measuring and layout tools. This course is the same as the first hour of the course Eg-252, Machine Tool Operations. PET students may take Eg-252 in place of this course and also apply Eg-252 toward the PET Free Elective requirement. Rec. 1, Lab. 0, Cr. 1.
