A study of data analysis and statistical inference as well as various statistical methods applied to topics in business administration. Emphasis is place upon the use of statistical inferece to reduce the impact of limited information from which business people must draw conclusions and make decisions. Topics include descriptive statistical measures, probability, random samples, skewness, random variables, analysis of variance, correlation and regression. Twelve certifications in statistical exercises and a group project assist students in achieving course objectives. Offered Term Two. Four semester hours.
