A publishing course designed to give students practice and experience with the leading PC desktop program, QuarkXPress, to create professional-looking publications including newsletters, advertisements, stationery, flyers, business cards, and announcements. Other skills learned include scanning and editing photographs using Adobe PhotoShop. Prerequisite: Computer Information Systems 275. Offered every term. Three semester hours.
