A review of basic arithmetic and an introduction to beginning topics in algebra. This course attempts to build connections between arithmetic and algebra and to ease the transition to a class in College Algebra or other college level work. It also includes topics in beginning statistics and geometry. It is not applicable toward the 128 hours required for a degree. Students are not allowed to withdraw from Mathematics 090. Offered fall term each year.
