SPAN 1001 is the first of two elementary language courses designed to develop the skills in speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing as well as familiarize students with aspects of the target culture. A grade of “C” or higher will fulfill the CPC deficiency. SPAN 1001 may count in AREA F toward Foreign Language, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science - General Studies degrees.
