(3) Lifeguard Training develops the skills and knowledge necessary for non-surf lifeguarding. The Lifeguard Instructor provides the lifeguard with the techniques and understanding of course content to teach lifeguard training courses. Successful completion of this course leads to American Red Cross Certification. Requisites: Good swimmer and at least 17 years of age or PERM.
