(1) This course provides the student with an introduction to patient care concepts as they relate to medical imaging. The student, upon completion of this course will have knowledge of emergency, geriatric and pediatric imaging, infection control, basic laboratory tests, medical/surgical asepsis, venipuncture, and contrast administrations. As well, the student will have the ability to apply the concepts learned in this course to the radiologic clinical environment. Requisites: PR, MDI 260 and PERM of instructor.
